Barbados Golf Holidays
Barbados is situated in the Eastern Caribbean some 62 miles East of the Windward Islands, the island is just 21 miles long and 14 miles wide and is now a British Commonwealth Nation. The island like many Caribbean Islands has beauty abound, with crystal clear waters, sugar sand beaches, famous international cricket ground at Bridgetown to name but a few. The South Coast is home to a few famous areas, Dover Beach with its quaint cricket ground and steep pea shingle and sand beach, evening night spots at St Lawrence Gap and the ever-popular Reggae Lounge. Leave Friday's free too the famous Oistins Fish Fry is a great way to enjoy the best catches of the day's grilled Bajan Style. The West Coast has by far the best of the island's sugar sand beaches and with flat seas, perfect for a little non-motorised water sports or even a catamaran cruise. Evening entertainment with the locals and a little Reggae can be enjoyed in Holetown a great place to experience the true "Bajan Vibe". The East Coast is more than a little different with sandy beaches and a more rugged coastline, not a great place for safe swimming yet beautiful in its own individual way - whilst here visit Batesheba Beach the best on the Eastern Coastline. Other places of interest are Harrisons Cave and Bridgetown too - the islands capital. All this, and we have not even mentioned Golf, some of the best golf in the Caribbean can be found here with the likes of Royal Westmoreland, Sandy Lane and more, in fact please read on for our personal and preferential choices. Barbados, you just gotta smile.
