Golf Course Details:
Hermanus Golf Club is one the oldest and most established golf clubs in South Africa originally opening its doors in 1907, a new clubhouse arrived in 1923 and the golf course became an 18 hole one in 1937. Over the years thereafter, the courses popularity attracted golfers from all over the world and the most famous the late Sam Snead and Bobby Lock. In 2007 the golf course was re-modelled by Peter Matkovich re-opening the golf course to the fantastic 27 holes East, North and South that we see today. A private golf course and located in an area more famed for whale watching, the golf course is available to the public. Another course to be added to the never-ending bucket list.
