Golf in South Africa Garden Route
The Garden Route is one of South Africa's most enchanting areas with sheer cliffs plunging into the Indian Ocean, glittering white beaches and majestic mountains stretching from the Cape winelands in the west to Port Elizabeth on the Indian Ocean coast in the east. Along the way, as well as outstanding golf, there is every kind of adventure activity possible including game parks, whale watching (in season) scuba diving and of course some great fishing.
For golfers Touring the Garden Route the outstanding areas are around George where the world famous Fancourt Hotel and Country Club Estate can be found and 35 to 45miles further east the holiday towns of Knysna and Plettenburg Bay. When visiting this area there is a choice of either driving the 250 odd miles from and to Cape Town or flying into or out of George which has several flights daily into Cape Town or Johannesberg.
Multi-centre holidays are popular with our clients visiting Arizona and after a few days enjoying the great shopping, theatres, museums and dinning in Scottsdale a couple of days at Flagstaff (ideal for getting to the Grand Canyon & Monument Valley) en route to Las Vegas is a popular option.
