All guests here have the fantastic opportunity to play arguably one of the most aesthetically pleasing golf courses that Ernie Els has designed being the Els at Anahita. Set between land and sea, this 18 hole, par-72 golf course is challenging and has large immaculate fairways and five sets of tees.

Six of the holes are overlooking the turquoise seas of the Indian Ocean, culminating in a magical final shot. The attention to detail and the overall conditioning make this a golf course you want to play more than once. As if that is not enough, the second golf course available in the Ile Aux Cerfs golf course, designed by two-time Masters champion Bernhard Langer. It is located opposite the resort and easily reached within 5 minutes by boat.

Another 18 holes par-72 championship golf course all of which have stunning views of the ocean. The course itself is pristine and has been designed to challenge the advanced players as well as remaining accessible and exciting for the more recreational golfer.

Gastronomy

Experience the authentic Mauritian charm with its unique accommodation. The luxurious suites are modern in their design, spacious and all have a fully equipped kitchen, lounge, and dining area, with an adjoining terrace and plunge or swimming pool. The Prestige Suites are available in one, two, or three bedrooms.

There are numerous culinary delights for breakfast, lunch, and dinner available at Anahita as well as fabulous cocktails at the Vu bar. The ‘Origine’ restaurant offers international and local specialties and is included in the half-board option. Discover innovative Mauritian cuisine at the fine dining restaurant ‘Signature’. Or for a more relaxed atmosphere why not try ‘Bliss’, the fabulous beach restaurant offering Mediterranean and Mauritian cuisine. Overlooking Ernie Els 18th hole, the à la carte Trattoria restaurant ‘Il Forno’ serves a clubhouse style lunch and in the evening an appealing selection of delicious traditional Italian dishes and wines. Lastly, 15 minutes from the resort is the ‘Domaine de L’etoile, where you can enjoy Mauritian cuisine surrounded by beautiful and natural scenery.

In the resort, Anahita has its own small beach and a second private beach on the island of Ile aux Cerfs, which can be accessed by a fast free shuttle cruise. Here you will find 300 meters of white sandy beach and crystal clear water, unspoiled by development or hawkers. Enjoy a simple but delicious grilled lunch here and enjoy the peaceful location.

Watersports are high on the agenda here with the beautiful East coast coastline, whether it be relaxing on the pristine beaches at Ile Aux Cerf or snorkeling below the waves.

Spa

If you want to try something more relaxing, book yourself into the Anahita Spa by Themae Paris. Here they aim to bring you long-lasting wellbeing using tea-based treatments. The name Themae means the ‘Japanese tea ceremony’. This luxurious spa consists of a tea lounge, 8 single, and 1 double treatment room with its own garden area. Indoor and outdoor showers, a steam room, and a manicure and pedicure room.
