Bangpra Golf Club

Bangpra Golf Club is located a 40-minute drive outside of Pattaya and is known as one of the oldest golf courses in Thailand. First constructed in 1958 but was revamped in the 1980s by the Japan Golf Professional Corporation and the Tourism Authority of Thailand, this impressive course is one of the most mature golf courses you will find in South East Asia.

This impressive woodland course offers a scenic round of golf, bustling with nature. With lots of bird varieties, undulating fairways, tall valleys and picturesque forests, this course is a very pleasant experience. The greens are very flat and forgiving, and with large fairways, this is a great course for novice golfers.

Bangpra, originally built in 1958, was among the first golf courses in the Pattaya region. Then, in 1988, the design and facilities were completely redesigned as a joint venture between both the tourism authority of Thailand and Japanese Golf Professionals. Bangpra was the very first purpose-built golf facility to encourage golf tourism in Thailand, and presently it continues to remain among the most mature golf courses in Pattaya.

The fully grown course in Bangpra is a pleasant relief from the newer and more massively popular Pattaya golf courses and is an obvious option for Pattaya golfers who like excellently-established golf courses.
