The Montgomerie Maxx Royal golf course in Belek is one of Europe’s most exciting new additions to the game, and it has already been described as one of the best in the world.
The Montgomerie Maxx Royal, which first opened in September 2008, has a natural wild feel to it and is home to arguably the nicest clubhouse in Belek, with a large terrace and a wide range of cuisine on offer. The ideal place to unwind after a long day on the fairways.
This is Colin Montgomerie’s first Mediterranean design, which he now considers to be one of his best. The Montgomerie Maxx Royal is one of the most difficult courses in the popular Belek golf region, with eight lakes and approximately seven hectares of bunkers. Furthermore, the Montgomerie course is one of only a few in Belek that uses bent grass rather than Bermuda, resulting in a slightly faster play compared to other courses in the area.
The course has some outstanding golf holes with undulating fairways and numerous strategic golf layouts over numerous water features. This fantastic Par 72 layout includes six par 3s, six par 4s, and six par 5s.
