Ian Woosname chose the Ravlog Vallery high in the mountains adjacent to Bansko Ski Resort design the impressive Pirin Golf & Country Club. This 18 Hole Championship golf course measures 6131 yards from the White tees, and opened its doors in 2008.
Recognised as one of Bulgaria’s best golf courses. With breathtaking scenery to distract the more discerning of golfers the location is remininiscent of the Swiss Alps or popular ski resorts of Austria.
The course is located 9,000 feet above sea level, the air thinner here so does the ball reallyu fly further? With 80 bunkers, natural water hazards and the odd forest of trees the golf course carves its way through what can only be described as stunning countryside. The course has hosted the Senior Tour Europe and is a Member along with the hotel, a Member of European Tour Destinations.
