Orlando is the perfect destination to take the family on holiday. Still, it also provides some excellent golfing opportunities for those who want to take on a few golf courses while there. While the golfers play all the superb championship golf courses they have to choose from, the other family guests left behind have an array of popular entertainment on their doorstep.

The internationally acclaimed Walt Disney World Resort, Universal Orlando Resort, or take an airboat ride over the Florida Everglades to see the wildlife. They could even take a balloon ride and experience the Florida landscape differently. There are retail outlets plus a lot more for everyone to do regardless of age. Like everyone else, golfers are spoilt for choice as to which courses they can choose from. Every golf course has a different story to tell, but the golfer can play in big players’ footsteps when in Orlando.

How Much is a Golf Holiday to Orlando?

A week in Orlando costs around £1,200 per person, including golf, hotel, flights and transfers. If you want to include Disney or Universal attractions, you should budget more. For a group, we often recommend taking a villa as it will usually work out cheaper per person; and we can still package your golf tee times. Villas have the bonus of “having your own space,” too, something that might be preferable in the buzz of central Orlando.

When Should I Play Golf in Orlando?

Our recommendation is to visit from February to May. Florida has a sub-tropical climate and can be very hot and humid during the rainy season. During this time, the weather will be around the mid to high twenties, and buggies available on all courses make the whole experience pleasurable.
