Resort Overview

There are two main dining areas at the “Grill and Classic Room” or the “Bay Window” restaurant that overlooks the putting green and iconic Rolex Watch Tower. The spa is serene and ideal after a challenging 18 holes.
Orlando International Airport is 18 miles away, and downtown Orlando is only 12 miles away. So the famous attractions are all within reach, including Universal Studios, the convention centre, Lake Buena Vista and Disney.

Playing Golf in Orlando provides an extensive portfolio of quality golf courses. None more than Arnold Palmer’s Bay Hill Club, this 18 Hole Championship golf course is most famous for its main event of the year held in March, The Arnold Palmer Invitational. There is 27-holes on-site set on 280 acres of prime estate adjacent to the shores of the Butlers chain of lakes. The three nines include the Challenger, Charger and Champion.

Bay Hill has hosted this prestigious event since 1979 and is now one of the main events on the USPGA calendar and one of five events in The Florida Swing. Measuring 7,381 yards from the back tees, this Championship gem also has an additional nine holes in the Charger golf course. One of Florida’s best golf courses provides the travelling golfer with perfect conditions to enjoy a relaxing break.

Accommodation at Bay Hill

Guests have numerous options, staying in the main lodge with 70 lodge rooms and suites furnished with Lexington furniture, flatscreen TV, a DVD player, and a fully equipped bathroom. Alternatively, f you are looking for a bit of privacy and perhaps want to cook that Sea Bass you caught earlier. The Guest Cottages’ self-catering options have two bedrooms, one with King and two queen beds and a fully equipped kitchen. All come with either lake or golf course views.

When staying at Arnold Palmer’s Bay Hill Club & Lodge, all guests are attended by a team of staff who make you welcome and feel at home. All amenities include the tennis courts, spa, and a fitness centre with an impressive junior Olympic swimming pool. The fitness centre is fully equipped with the latest cardiovascular equipment, free weight and treadmills, and the option for guests of fitness classes. The Spa at Bay Hill has an extensive array of treatments, from facials to massages to skincare treatments. All can be personally tailored. Also available is the Arnold Palmer Academy, two acres of the short game practice facility, six tennis courts, 9,000 square feet of meeting space, and many events.

Those looking for more outdoor activities look no further than the Marina, with daily fishing trips available to take guests out and across the selection of Butler Lakes for some fantastic Bass Fishing. There are also three bars and three dining choices. The casually elegant Grill & Classic rooms serve breakfast and lunch. The Bay Window is a more casual option with the famous view over the putting green. The Rolex clock, the Splash Casual Poolside Dining for Al Fresco dining, and lighter bites last. Finally, one can take pre-dinner drinks at the Members Lounge fireside serving fine wine, cocktails, and beer.
