Emirates Faldo Golf Course
The United Arab Emirates is one of the most popular destinations to play golf and in particular, Dubai as the state with the most golf courses. The first golf club built was the Emirates golf club. There are two golf courses here the Emirates Majlis and the Emirates Faldo golf course. Designed initially by Karl Litte and opened as the Emirates Wadi golf course “the Valley”. The Wadi Golf course was re-designed by Nick Faldo to refresh and improve the original design, which was a great course, then re-opening and re-launched as the Emirates Faldo Golf Course.
The putting surfaces are incredibly challenging, so be careful on the greens they are rated, and the contours can throw off even the most talented golfer. The ever-present expanses of water can quickly upend your scorecard.
Whilst redesigning the golf course Faldo came up with adding lights to the golf course so that it never needs to shut. One of the Emirates only floodlit golf courses, so getting a Tee time should not be a problem with the course opening 24 hours. Some say the re-design has now given Emirates golf club two excellent golf courses, each as good as one another.
We suggest a stay to the Meydan Hotel in Dubai, combine with golf at other top courses such as Dubai Creek golf course and Earth Course at Jumeirah Golf.
