When is the Best Time to Play Golf in Barbados?
British golfers can play all year because of the balmy weather in the winter months. Our advice is to travel between December and March when the weather is ideal for golf. At this time of year, there should be little or no rain, and the temperature should be warm enough to play golf.
Weather and best times:
- Barbados has stable temperatures between 24-30c all year
- December to April offers the best golfing weather with low rainfall
- Morning tee times help avoid the strongest afternoon sun
- Light sea breezes keep playing conditions comfortable
What Else Can I Do Apart From Playing Golf?
The sea is an essential part of the island’s culture, and it’s a great place to boogie board, snorkel, sail, kayak, and, for those looking for a little more excitement, jet ski in the Caribbean Sea. We recommend going to Oistins on a Friday because that’s when the famous “Oistins Fish Fry” takes place, which is a great way to meet the locals and eat the freshest catch. Or go into Bridgetown and enjoy everything the capital has to offer, such as a former garrison and great shopping at Harrisons, to name a few. There are also plenty of galleries to visit.
There are plenty of historic sites beyond golf, and being a tropical landscape you’ll find interesting attractions or natural rock formations such as Harrison’s Cave with beautiful stalagmites to wonder.
