Palm Hills Golf Club

Palm Hills Golf Club was the first international golf course to open its doors. Palm Hills opened in 1992. Hundreds of palm trees surround a popular golf course with golfers of all the abilities palm hills. Like no other in the area, the golf course is laid out across an undulating landscape, making playing any shot a challenge. The back nine are located further up into the hills and have very much links feel to it. The designer has added many bougainvillaea trees and shrubs to make Palm Hills a beautiful golf course. Highly recommended by returning golfers to the area.

The golf course, located near the centre of Hua Hin, Hua Hin Airport, is located in the lower valley. It was also the first global Hua Hin golf course and opened in 1992. The following year, Palm Hills hosted the inaugural World Pro-Am tournament in Thailand.

The golf course is set on a large piece of undulating terrain that gives the holes a feeling of Scottish ‘links,’ which is distinct from all the other layouts in the area. Max Wexler’s design goes from east to west, with lakes at each end, segregated by a clubhouse and a fascinating rocky outcrop broadening from the mountain range.

The conditioning of the Palm Hills Golf Club is excellent. Beautiful landscape design is plentiful throughout the golf course, during certain times of the year, the course surrounds the exotic perfume of the frangipani tree blossoms on most fairways.

Facilities, including locker rooms, practice areas, and clubhouses are optimal. As with many Thai golf clubs, the restaurant serves food that is reasonably priced and tasty.
