Belle Mare Plage – Legend GC

The Legend golf course in Mauritius is an 18 hole championship golf course designed by Hugh Baiocchi, it opened its doors in 1994 and measures just 6,600 yards from the back tees. The course is a tight course and winds its way through the indigenous forest. The par 3 17th hole is a spectacular hole that opens out onto Bras Requin Bay the only visible beach from the course. A fantastic test and one not to be missed.

The island has all the classic colours from sandy white beaches to crystal clear blue sea and emerald green fairways – it’s little wonder why Mauritius golf holidays are becoming so popular.

The signature hole is the par 3 17th which requires an accurate tee shot over the inlet on the seafront. A tricky green that will have seen many 3-putts and is surrounded by multiple bunkers.
