Fancourt Outeniqua Golf Course

Fancourt’s Outeniqua Golf Course is one of two grand and magnificent 18-hole courses at Fancourt.  this wonderful parkland offering is located in the beautiful town of George on the stunning South African Garden Route. Designed by famous golfer Gary Player, the golf course has a similar personality to its sibling golf course, the Fancourt Montagu. The Golf Course ‘s challenging design and the excellent conditioning will provide a wonderful test for golfers of all levels. As with all the golf courses in Fancourt, there is a wide range of tees to play from, ensuring golfers won’t feel overwhelmed by the golf course.

The Outeniqua golf course at Fancourt is named after the mountain that overshadows the resort, one of two great parkland courses, Outeniqua is the easier. The course easier but certainly no pushover as it is also ranked 17th by golf digest. The course is made up of rolling parkland made up of the local Kikuyu grass fairways with streams and water hazards that come into play on eleven of its holes. Outeniqua certainly makes up a trio of unforgettable golf.

Golfers can enjoy a preparation/warm-up area with a full driving range and a practice area for chipping and bunker practice.

As with all Fancourt’s golf courses, members, guests and resort guests are limited, giving peace of mind when you take an extra moment to establish which golf club to draw from your arsenal. This is not a place to be rushed and decent gaps between tee times often give the illusion that you are the only people on the golf course.
