Black Mountain Golf Club

The Black Mountain golf course is rated as one of The best on offer across Thailand and just recently received the prestigious Asia Pacific Order of Zenith which is the highest honor in the Asia region to receive. This 27 Hole golf course is split across 3 nines of the North East & West golf courses. Each combination of the three golf course measures over 7000 yards from the low handicap tees. There are six tee boxes to choose from so golfers of all abilities can enjoy this great golfing layout. Another course to add to that bucket list of courses to play.

Black Mountain was modified from verdant jungle and pineapple plantations and located about 25 minutes west of Hua Hin. Set in a valley bordered by vast black granite rock coated mountains, the Hua Hin Golf Course was the venue for Asian PGA Tour events in 2009 and 2010 and the Europe vs. Asia Royal Trophy in 2011. In 2012 and every year since Black Mountain was chosen as one of the 100 best golf courses outside of the USA by Golf Digest magazine. In 2014 Black Mountain hosted The Thailand Classic, the first European Tour event to be held in Thailand. The Thailand Classic, which also took place in 2015 and 2016, is now a major fixture on the European and Asian Tours.

Black Mountain Golf Club is not only a measure for top professionals, but also a very worth playing test for the average golfer. The holes provide the golfer with an easy route, but there is an increased risk option for the more daring player with a prospective higher reward. Black Mountain offers generous fairways for shorter hitters that are narrower for longer tee shots. The greens are large with a lot of pin positions that give varying degrees of difficulty. Multiple white sand contoured bunkers defend the holes.

This is a must-play golf course in the Hua Hin Region of Thailand and should be played alongside Springfield Royal.
