The Blue Monster Golf Course

Trump National Doral’s famous Blue Monster, which is famous all over the world and rich in history, is harder, longer, and more sensational than it has ever been. Doral owner Donald Trump’s ambition, who purchased the hottest golf course designer, Gil Hanse, to carefully re-sculpt each hole, restored the course to its previous grandeur in mid-2014. The 7,590-yard course features cleverly placed deep bunkers, long flowing fairways, intriguing undulating greens, deep Bermuda roughs, and a challenging array of water hazards – all of which combine for a course that requires both length and skill to score well.

The original design, known simply as the “Blue Monster,” has undergone many changes over the years. With three other excellent courses on-site, this is now widely regarded as one of the most popular golf resorts in the United States.

The most well-known 18th hole is frequently listed as one of the most difficult on the PGA Tour. It’s no surprise that almost every great golfer has had a personal triumph on the fairways of this world-class course (Jack Nicklaus has won twice, Greg Norman has won three times, and Tiger Woods has won four times). It is also not surprising that he has successfully defended his position as the current and future home of the Cadillac World Golf Championships.

Trump National Doral Miami was featured in Golf Magazine’s Top 100 resort hotels in 2019, recognising the best places to stay and play golf.
