The Soffer Course is the lengthier and much more difficult challenge of both the two courses on offer at Turnberry Isle it is also the more scenic and photographic. Course and slope ratings are higher than those of the Miller Course. The Miller and Soffer courses were designed specifically by Robert Trent Jones Sr. From the back Championship tees (Oakmont) , the course plays 7,047 yards with a course rating of 74.3 and a slope of 149 yards. Most male golfers will have everything they can cope with by playing the Blue (Pebble Beach) tees.

The resort itself is only spread out over 300 acres, therefore the Soffer course has narrow fairway fairways running alongside each other divided by tall trees or mounding. The elevation changes make the Soffer course one of the toughest tests in the state.

Given that the land in South Florida is typically so flat and mostly uninteresting, the last thing you would expect is a design like this. There are rolls and ripples everywhere on the fairways and greens. The holes are thoughtfully designed and the fairways are polished and pruned beyond levels of excellence.
Both courses share a practice area featuring the double-ended driving range with many target greens, large, practice putting greens, completely separate chipping and pitching areas as well as bunkers remotely approaching the ones you’ll find on the course.

Make sure to play both courses on-site as the Miller is also an incredible track.
