Playing the course from the medal tees is a friendly 6,122 yards. If you’d like to take a longer test then the championship takes extend to the course to just over 7000 yards.

Palmetto Dunes Robert Trent Jones Golf Review
The tree-lined course is pure Jones: Calm and comfortable where good shots are rewarded, and bad ones are punished – just not too much compared with some other Hilton Head layouts. “The championship tee with a slope of 133 accurately depicts what you’ll face — a mid-level golf course that sets up well for some good scoring opportunities, but will also leave you with high numbers if you’re not careful. With just a few forced carries, the RTJ Course is one where a good golfer can thrive, and a not-so-good golfer will at least have the benefit of as pleasant a course as they are ever likely to play.
The signature hole of the Jones course, the 10th par-five, offers breathtaking ocean views. This straightaway par five signature hole is generally played into the prevailing wind. It’s going to take three solid shots to meet the green.
