Accommodation
Staying at Palmetto Dunes means unwinding and having full access to all of the resort’s fantastic activities. Choose from weekly rentals in one of our one-of-a-kind rental homes, which range in size from 3 to 6 bedrooms, or more flexible bookings in one of our villas, which range in size from 1 to 4 bedrooms. Both have their own set of features and amenities, and you’re sure to find one that meets your individual and group requirements.
Facilities
When you choose Palmetto Dunes, you’re choosing one of the first Hilton Head resorts for families, golfers, and groups alike; there’s something here for everyone. Everything Hilton Head Island has to offer is right outside your door. Palmetto Dunes is more than just a golf course and a beach.
Furthermore, with 2,000 acres of activity, it’s no surprise that Palmetto Dunes has been named one of the top resorts in the south for the past three years in a row by Condé Nast. The stunning beach and world-class golf are only the beginning. Hilton Head bike rentals and water sports are right here, along with our full marina service, award-winning tennis and pickleball centre, and an 11-mile lagoon for kayaking or simply getting back to nature.
Dining Out at Palmetto Dunes
Whether you want to savour a steak or try a sandwich, dining at Palmetto Dunes restaurants, cafes, and grills, which are conveniently located on-site, will satisfy your hunger. Alternatively, head across the street to Shelter Cove Harbor & Marina for an even wider selection of bars and oceanfront restaurants, as well as special events like the Harbor Festival and Music & Taste on the Harbour.
Alexander’s, located in the heart of Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort, is one of Hilton Head Island’s most popular restaurants. In the heart of the city, Alexander’s classic seafood restaurant serves seasonal and locally sourced dishes. It is also the resort’s first wine bar.
The Dunes House
The ideal oceanfront restaurant for unwinding and enjoying yourself. This restaurant, located just a few steps from the beach, offers casual dining for resort guests and property owners. This laid-back beach bar and restaurant offers food, drinks, and entertainment while overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The Dunes House is a completely al fresco dining experience that is open for lunch and dinner.
