Review of Oyster Reef Golf Course

Oyster Reef golf club’s spectacular 18-hole championship course is set within 190 acres of breathtaking Lowcountry terrain with winding lakes, hidden lagoons, lush vegetation, and fantastic views of Hilton Head Island. This semi-private golf course opened in 1982 and soon became a favourite of not the locals but also international visitors.

Oyster Reef has the privilege to have one of, if not The most spectacular holes on the island – Hole number 6, is a long Par 3 measuring some 192 yards from the back tees with a green set against the backdrop of the beautiful Port Royal Sound. Oyster reef has been awarded many honours over the years voted in the Top 20 courses in the Carolinas, “Golf Course Of The Year” by Low Country Golf Course Owners Association, “Top 75 U.S.Golf Resorts” By Golf Digest to name but a few.
