Harbour Town Links Review

The Pete Dye layout, located on Hilton Head Island, just north of Savannah, joins Kiawah Island and TPC Sawgrass as part of the trio of Pete Dye’s most famous public courses. These courses allow the public to experience championship-standard golf. Harbour Town’s signature red and white lighthouse, positioned just beyond the 18th green, signals the proximity to the ocean and the challenges the coastal winds bring to the course.

The RBC Heritage Tournament, always held the week after the Masters, is a favourite venue for European players, offering a more relaxed atmosphere after Augusta’s high-stress competition.

Harbour Town Golf Links is a true test of skill, where accuracy is rewarded, and golfers are challenged by small greens, bunkers, and water hazards. With tree-lined fairways, well-placed bunkers, and waste areas, it’s a strategic course that requires precise play. Don’t forget to bring enough golf balls!

The RBC Heritage Golf Tournament

The RBC Heritage Tournament is held annually at Harbour Town Golf Links. The event’s headquarters and main clubhouse are located at Harbour Town Golf Links Resort, where spectators, fans, and golfers gather to enjoy the beautiful course and the amenities of Harbour Town Resort. Be sure to plan your trip around the RBC Heritage Tournament in April.

We recommend staying at the Sea Pines Resort and pairing your round at Harbour Town with a visit to the Robert Trent Jones at Palmetto Dunes or the Davis Love III Atlantic Dunes.
