The Anantara Vilamoura Algarve is one of my top recommendations as it provides 5-star luxury on the edge of Vilamoura. Throw in a European Tour venue golf course on-site and the marina at Vilamoura is only a 5 minute taxi ride away, where you’ll find nightlife, bars and restaurants to suit all tastes.
Recommended Golf Course:
Two courses spring to mind, firstly staying in the Algarve it is hard to beat Palmares in the Western Algarve. Based near Lagos this course has stunning views and an interesting design incorporating a train-line through the middle of it. Over on the Lisbon Coast there are so many goof courses to choose from. I would always recommend including Praia D’el Rey or West Cliffs as part of a northern Lisbon stay. If you are looking for something special and time allows then Troia is an absolute gem to the south of Lisbon.
