Favourite Resort: The Lodge at Torrey Pines – dine in the Valentine restaurant whilst overlooking the 18th green.

The West Coast has the climate, views, and variety that make it one of the most inspiring golf destinations in the world. From the ocean-carved cliffs of Pebble Beach to the desert panoramas of Palm Springs and the rolling fairways of Torrey Pines above the Pacific, every round feels different.

California’s mix of micro-climates means you can play in cool coastal mist in the morning and warm valley sunshine by afternoon. Add in iconic drives along Highway 1, world-class wine regions like Napa and Sonoma, and legendary layouts designed by Pete Dye and Robert Trent Jones Sr., and you’ve got a state built for golfers who crave scenery and challenge in equal measure.

West Coast golf holidays never stop surprising you even after decades of visiting.
