When it comes to the Kiawah Island Golf Resort, everybody thinks about the Ocean Course, and why not? It’s among the top five golf courses in the USA, and quite frankly one of the best in the world. Osprey Point is another gem from the Tom Fazio portfolio and is some of the only courses in South Carolina where the picturesque view can be made from every single hole. The course has been designed as a good resort course and given that it allows golfers of all abilities to enjoy it without it being too difficult for them. The wide-open fairways allow the locals ie Alligators and other reptiles to have somewhere to wander and it is not unusual to see a 9 footer wandering aimlessly and carefree across the fairway. The golf course of played from the back Tees can give you a bite, but with a good choice of tee positions to play from it should be suited to everyone.

The skills and abilities of a man almost all suggest being the world’s best modern golf architect are apparent from the first tee shot to the final putt. Opened in 1988, Osprey Point took advantage of renovations and a fresh clubhouse in 1997-98. It hosted the Eastern PGA Club Pro Championship and continues to amaze and offer sheer perfection.
