Legacy Golf Links
Legacy Golf Links is a Jack Nicklaus Designed golf course that must be played when touring the Pinehurst, Southern Pines and Aberdeen area of North Carolina. Even though Legacy has been one of the few courses in the Sandhills area to host the USGA National Championship, the course continues to exist for golfers of all levels of experience. The course was redeveloped in 2012 and attributes Mini Verde greens and is brilliantly covered by five lakes. The compilation of par 3s may well be the greatest in the area, while the 18th hole dubbed “The Bear” was rated the best finishing hole in the Pinehurst, Southern Pines, and Aberdeen area.
Making the most of the rolling terrain and huge natural water hazards the Legacy can be enjoyed by all levels of golfer. The fairway landing areas are generous however from here on in the going gets tougher. The absence of developments around the course and the peaceful rural setting make the Legacy a regular play for the repeat visitor to the area.
The practice area has everything you need, A driving range, chipping area, practice bunker, and putting green.
Legacy Golf Links is a wonderful golf course and an excellent offering in the Pinehurst region of North Carolina.
