Mid South Golf Club

The Mid South Club is the second piece of the Talamore Golf Resort jigsaw, a design expertly crafted by Arnold Palmer. While the construction of the Mid South Club, previously known as the Pinehurst Plantation, started in 1988, the course did not open until 1993. Even though the estate changed hands a few times, the club struggled mightily until Talamore Golf Partners obtained the layout in 2004 and managed to make some new investments, building many other amenities, one of which is a beautiful, modern clubhouse.

The Mid South Golf Club takes the form of 545 acres of emerald green fairways and high-rise pine trees, set within a private residential area. You will find dramatic changes in elevation, glistening lakes and multiple wetlands that come into play throughout the golf course. Mid South Club does it all in a big way: big greens, ample fairways, big bunkers, big lakes-and in some areas, big rocks (like those on the ninth and eighteenth greens).

The second of the two golf courses at Talamore Mid South. This par 71 gem of a golf course has hosted qualifying tournaments for all US Open, US Senior Open, and US Amateur events. It is rated the No1 Private golf club in the Sandhills Pinehurst area by Pinehurst Magazine.
