The Royal Westmoreland Golf Course was recognised as one of the world’s best courses and has hosted the Barbados Open no fewer than on 8 occasions. Accordingly, to European Tour players the course offers some of the most testing par 3’s anywhere.  With breathtaking scenery and a backdrop of the Caribbean Sea, this course gives the average golfer an opportunity to play the very best the Caribbean has to offer. Located in the parish of St James the course this Robert Trent Jones Jnr design measures an impressive 7,045 yards from the back tees, has an impressive 19th hole with breathtaking views.

Sandy lane Country Club

The Country Club golf course at Sandy Lane is a Tom Fazio 18 Hole Championship golf course, measuring 7,060 yards from the back tees. In 2006, Sandy Lane hosted the World Golf Championships. The golf course in St James parish, Barbados, has immaculately cut fairways with lush inviting greens. Making life a little more interesting is the inclusion of five lakes spread across the golf course to give The Country a quality we come to expect of a real championship golf course.

Rated as one of the World’s most exclusive golf courses, The Green Monkey golf course at Sandy Lane has been carved from a former limestone quarry and is another classic from world-famous golf course designer Tom Fazio. The design takes in the fairway, and greens are surrounded by sheer cliff faces that create a dramatic atmosphere throughout the day. The course’s signature hole encloses a grassy area surrounding a vast bunker shaped into the form of a Bajan Green Monkey, from which the course name derives. Itself. Barbados Golf Club is one of the most established golf courses on the island and is renowned for providing excellent customer service and golf. The Barbados Golf Club offers beautiful views of the Caribbean Sea and some of the best views on the island. Designed by John Harris and Ron Kirby, the 18-hole Par 72 course features some challenging holes, with narrow fairways and lots of bunkers on the greens. It is located on the South Coast adjacent to Oistins.

Under new ownership, the course is undergoing a slight $37 million facelift and will feature a playable 19th hole par 3, a replica of the famous 17th at Sawgrass, and an impressive island green.
