The Ocean Course at Kiawah Island is Pete Dye’s masterpiece and is one of the most challenging courses in the world. It has hosted multiple PGA Championships, and its reputation precedes it. The course in South Carolina is long and windy, and the ocean views are breathtaking. It is truly a test of golf, and only the most skilled players will be able to tame it. This course was host to the infamous Ryder Cup in 1991, nicknamed the “War on the Shore”.

The weather in South Carolina is generally mild during these times, with average temperatures in the mid-70s. The island also tends to be less crowded during these times, so you’ll be able to enjoy the course without having to worry about tee times.
