One of Charleston’s oldest and historic hotels situated close to the center of the city, the Francis Marion offers the unashamed style and elegance you would expect of a top-class hotel. It opened in 1923 and was named after the Revolutionary War Hero Francis Marion, and became an instant landmark as it rose 12 stories above the Historic District. The hotel offers spectacular views across the Historic Downtown, the church steeples, historic mansions, and the famous harbor.
