Innisbrook Island Course
The newly renovated Island course at Innisbrook has been host to many USPGA Tour qualifying events, and used for the LPGA ISPS Handa Tour Open reflecting the true quality of the course. After receiving its make-over the course is now as challenging as Copperhead with numerous elevation changes, tight fairways and Lake Innisbrook running alongside the first 6 holes of the course.
With narrow fairways, threatening water hazards, easily accessible bunkers, and remarkable changes in topography, the Island Course is regarded by many to be just as challenging as Copperhead. The extraordinary scenic island has hosted many of the U.S. The Open Qualifiers and the NCAA Championships. The golf courses has also been ranked among the Top 50 Golf Digest Resort Courses in the USA.
The first six holes of the island are bounded by the wonderful Innisbrook Lake and lateral water hazards that necessitate the precision of the tee shots and approaches. The middle six holes showcase rolling hills monopolised by cypress trees and pine trees.
