PGA National The Estates
Designed by Karl Litten, The Estate Course is a lovely blend of demanding and humble holes. The course is designed and intended for any caliber of player to thoroughly enjoy, The course is one of the shorter courses at the PGA National Resort & Spa. Where players are tested, the positioning of fairway bunkers and water hazards is profound, and finding the right positions from the tee is key to a good round on this lovely golf course. Generous fairways on this course however often make stray tee shots more tolerable but the rough is thick and players will be punished for being excessively wayward, and the large, engaging greens help maintain the course as a fun round for both the experienced golfer and the high handicapper. Forced carries to a lot of greens either over hazards or bunkers create a test that makes each round more enjoyable than the last one. With an open feeling created by property-wide house setbacks. The course seems almost like a core golf course. The Estate Course is located five miles west of the main resort.
This golf course really is for everybody to enjoy and absolutely one to play when a golf trip to the PGA National Golf Resort is planned.
