The Boulders Golf Club in Scottsdale USA is a semi-private country club with a fitness centre, pro-shop, golf academy, tennis, restaurant, residential development, and two championship golf courses.

For this golf course that features massive rock structures throughout the course with the most spectacular groupings behind the greens, Boulders is a very apt term. The desert landscape boasts an extensive collection of native vegetation which frames the crisscross cut fairways, including majestic saguaro cacti. Water comes into play on a couple of holes on nearly all of the back tees with forced carries being found while the forward tee sets are much more responsive to fewer aerial drives.

The North Course is the longer of the two at just over 6,80 yards from the back tees and encompasses fantastic views of Black Mountain as the course winds its way through the huge boulders that are the centrepiece of this community.

The South course is shorter but not that you would really notice at 6,726 yards, this course is the most scenic of the two as the course winds its way closer to the rock formations and the Signature holes featuring “Boulder Pile” and “Rosies Rock the most recognizable formations on the resort.

The courses are kept in excellent condition, especially for a public course that incorporates great facilities and incredible experience with the complimentary driving range.

Overall, two fantastic courses in this golf haven and certainly not to be missed.
